Houston we have a problem….

Apparently a junkie rapper has been and ex reality tv castaway aren’t too pleased in the light Oprah’s praise warrior Iyanla Vanzant has portrayed them on the 2nd season of OWN’s ‘Fix My Life’. The whole purpose of the show intervention is for celebrities and regular Joe Smo’s to bring their problems to Iyanla so she can show them the error of their ways and hopefully coach them into a better direction…however some people just aren’t up for change.

First up rapper DMX shared with TMZthat Iyanla was only supposed to ask him questions about his addiction to women but not about his highly publicized issues with drugs.

X tells the site that the questions about drugs were never cleared beforehand. Iyanla set the whole thing up to make me look bad for ratings,” . “That lady is toxic … My last words to her were that she can ‘suck my d—-’ and she still can.” ooop!

lol. wow Check out more on DMX and Sheree’s rant about Iyanla after the jump.

Now here’s the skinny from DMX’s representation:

DMX agreed to be a guest on “Iyanla: Fix My Life” with the understanding that she would be helping his relationships with his ten children. When he arrived for the taping, most of the content was focused on his struggles with drugs and poor parenting. Iyanla did not “fix” DMX’s life; just made his image worse, and does not have DMX’s personal written consent to use the footage.”

It was clearly seen that DMX has a serious drug problem and regardless if he did or didn’t want that part of his problems displayed on television he needs some serious rehabilitation.

++++

Now moving along to Sheree Whitfield. While it seems nothing was actually “Fixed” when Iyanla met up with Bob and Sheree Whitfield, the former NFL Player was more than gracious for his time spent on ‘Fix My Life’ however his ex-wife didn’t feel the same way…

Sheree spoke to RumorFix.com and issued a statement regarding this past Saturday’s episode:

Since leaving the ‘Housewives’, I’ve been at a different place in my life, a place of healing and self-empowerment, so when Bob reached out to me about doing this show on co-parenting I was excited because I thought we were both on the same page and equally wanted to work towards mending our relationship so that we could more effectively co-parent, and even more importantly I thought it was an opportunity to inspire single parents in our situation. However, once shooting began I felt misled because the line of questioning was centered more on accusations of my shortcomings as a wife versus how we can begin to resolve our issues.”

Sheree explained further in the statement that Iyanla’s approach to therapy was one-sided” and “judgmental”

++++++

At one point in time I considered Sheree as one of my favorite Atlanta Housewives because she was so damn fly and carried herself to a higher standard. I didn’t however discover until recently that she plays dress up in the land of make-believe convincing the ‘real’ reality that she’s something she’s not. It’s quite apparent in the ‘Fix My Life’ episode she’s still holding on to her ‘high-end’ lifestyle and sadly living with that mindset will leave you bad, broken, broke, and bitter.

The problem with people like Sheree and DMX is that they keep people around them who don’t divulge the truth about change in regards to life and how letting go of the past will make for a brighter future.

Cheers to the both of them… but as I stated earlier some people won’t, don’t, and can’t see or receive change no matter how knee-deep they are in it…..
